Gareth Hall (Senior Associate, DAC Beachcroft)
A Business Crime, Investigations and Regulatory lawyer, Gareth advises multi-national and heavily regulated corporate entities to address their sanctions risks from a multitude of perspectives including compliance, litigation, enforcement and contractual. Gareth is a Certified Global Sanctions Specialist (ACAMS).
Tasha Benkhadra (Associate, Corker Binning)
Tasha’s sanctions practice includes advising corporates and individuals on compliance with the UK sanctions regime, providing analysis as to the ownership and control of clients in order to determine whether they should be considered ‘indirectly’ sanctioned, and managing the application processes for any licences required. Tasha also acts for designated persons seeking to apply for a revocation of their designation, at both the ministerial review and court stages.
Matthew Worby (Managing Associate, Addleshaw Goddard)
Matt regularly advises regulated and unregulated clients of all sizes on financial and trade sanctions and export controls matters. This includes: helping clients to create and embed compliance programmes; providing strategic advice on reporting and breaches; and mitigating sanctions exposure in complex restructurings.
Francis Bond (Associate, Macfarlanes)
Francis is a leading practitioner on international financial sanctions matters, and is currently helping clients adapt to dramatic recent shifts in the global sanctions framework. He started his career working on sanctions policy and has recently contributed to debates about the future of UK sanctions policy.
